Emotional Freedom

This technique to overcome emotions is for people who want to learn or they are already familiar with emotional freedom statements while tapping specific points.
tapping_points The picture shows the points we gently tap while repeating statements. The idea is to have a single focus, in this example the fear. We start with “tune-in” by taking few controlled breaths. For tapping we can use two fingers – point and middle finger, or three fingers. We softly and kindly tap (or stimulate) the points and repeat one statement while tapping one point. Then we move to the next point and tap it while repeating the statement. We can repeat the same statement at each point or we can alternate statements when we change the points.  We can start on the karate chop, then top of the head and move downward. We should complete three cycles or sequences (covering all the points) and finish with the relaxing breath.

Examples of statements: Even though I feel fearful, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I feel insecure and vulnerable, I deeply and completely love and accept all this feelings. Even though anxiety and fear run my life, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I am holding fear in all of my body, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I am holding fear in every cell of my body, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I am holding fear in every organ of my body, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. We can use the second sequence stating your choice to feel different.

Examples of statements to make choices:I am choosing to release fear from my body. I am giving permission to to my body to release. There is no longer need to hold fear and I am choosing to let it go now. I am choosing to release fear from every cell of my body. I am allowing myself to feel relaxed.

The last sequence of tapping should be statements to trust that everything we have done throughout this technique can happen. Examples: I trust to my body and mind that they do their work. All the cleansing has been done on psychological and physiological level. I am confident that I let go everything related to fear. I trust that I feel relaxed. To finish the emotional freedom technique we take few controlled breaths and repeat the closing statements. Examples of closing statements: I am grateful to my body for letting go of the fear. I am grateful for a new level of balance I have achieved. I am giving permission to integrate everything good I have done. I am integrating new emotional balance I have now. There are powerful techniques to achieve emotional freedom such as mental imagery, visualization, emotional reprocessing and more.

When the things seem difficult to cope with; when everything and everyone seem to be against you; when life just seems hard, read this book and remember this simple phrase:
