Why should you consider counseling?

Negative emotions have a big impact on everyday life and  health. What is CBT?

What is contributing the problem? CBT is a psycho-educational approach to deal with dysfunctional emotions, cognitions (thinking) and behaviours. CBT searches for the answers on questions related to the current problem.

–       Process of resolving and re-framing the way of thinking

–       Based on the concept thinking – feeling – behaving; re-frame thinking process

–       Focus on the present moment – how we feel about the problem now

–       Relationship between the client and therapist may look more like coach and client relationship

What is MBCT?

Mindfulness means calm awareness. It helps to accept thoughts and feelings without judgment.

–       Alternate tendency to get drown into automatic reactions (pattern or automatic way of thinking – feeling – behaving)

–       Learn how to pay attention or concentrate with purpose, in each moment and without judgment

–       Recognize that holding onto some feeling is ineffective and mentally destructive

–       Increase quality of life, ability to recognize reasons of actions of the others, purpose, acceptance and solution

–       Expend focus, attention, imagination, flexibility

–       Create positive interactions and more thoughtful environment

–       Solution focus through calmness and awareness

–       Therapist creates trustful, caring and sharing relationship

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has become respected in current counselling and psychology. It is based on the concept of acupressure points and meridians that originate in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

–       Meridians are energy paths that flow throughout the body and acupressure points are located along these meridians.

–       This technique uses vocalization and simultaneous stimulation of acupressure points by tapping and/or pressing them.

–       During the sequential tapping the client recognizes exact feelings, accepts them and creates positive emotional base.

What is holistic approach?

 The therapist skilfully blends eastern methods of healing with western psychotherapy techniques. It recognizes that individuals have all the answers and the psychotherapy helps to access those answers with understanding and appreciation

–       Doesn’t provide solutions

–       Opens additional sources to see life experience

–        Insight to the core of problems

–       Guidance to manageable, stable and empowering life experience
